If you are still looking for the best beach holiday destinations, you are at the right place. Me and other awesome travel bloggers put together a list of the best beach holiday destinations for 2019. These are the most unique places which you need to take into consideration for your next vacation. We summed up the another 25 best destinations for your next awesome beach holiday.
Thank you again to all talented travel bloggers who participated in this article. We hope you will choose some of the destinations for your next beach holiday. We truly love all the destinations as it’s a great combination of places which are known and places that fly under the radar. Our goal was to mix them up to inspire you to try places which are not that well known, for 2 reasons. First, they are really extraordinary and second, they are not overpacked with tourists. However, you will still have a selection of well know places (which are naturally awesome as well).
We are very confident with giving Koh Kood the first place. This cute island exceeded our expectations and we highly recommend it. To us it belongs to one of the best beach holiday destinations for 2019. It is also one of the most beautiful islands we have seen in this area of Thailand and this photo ranks as one of our best drone photos we took in Southeast Asia. Why we love it so much? Because it’s a simple island with a chill atmosphere.
We had this beach called Ao Noi just for ourselves. Rent a scooter and drive around to find your own paradise. We guarantee that there won’t be many eye balls around. You can also kayak, snorkel or explore marine life. As Koh Kood is part of the Chang Islands you can easily reach Koh Mak and Koh Chang if you like. So if you need a perfect beach holiday, Koh Khood is one of your dreamy destinations.
This beach location is not only one of the best to visit but also one of the most underrated. While the Philippines is one of the best beach holiday destinations in Southeast Asia, most people visit usually Boracay, Palawan or Bohol. Thus, leaving the paradise of Caramoan out of their itinerary. And they miss so much! Being a set for the reality show – Survivor, Caramoan is located at the tip of the Caramoan Peninsula, a rugged place of land extending into the waters of the Maqueda Channel in the north and east and Lagonoy Gulf in the south.
A tropical heaven, full of limestone islands, that somehow doesn’t get the attention it deserves. Unlike Palawan, you won’t have to fight with other boats to reach the beaches. Hell, you won’t even have to share the beaches with other people on your boat because…well… usually, there aren’t other people on your boat! And if private island hopping and tropical beaches are not enough to convince you, Caramoan offers incredible scuba diving and snorkeling spots, perfect cliff jumping rocks and even some caves you can explore. Don’t miss to visit the Survivor show shooting sites. I’m not gonna spoil it but trust me there is a reason those islands were picked for a multi-million dollar production. If that sounds right, then add it to your list of best beach holiday destinations for this year.
Croatia is a great and belongs to one the best holiday destinations in Europe. Thanks to the endless most wonderful beaches on the Adriatic coast, with numerous lovely islands, hidden and romantic caves and reefs. In addition, the water is warm, crystal clear with extraordinary sunset views. Here you can easily find a beach of your choice, from long sandy beaches to rocky, pebble beaches with a lot of shade, due to lush and varied Mediterranean greenery.
The island of Mljet is the most beautiful and forested island in the Adriatic. Its unspoiled and mystical nature can easily addict you with a combination of gorgeous beaches, blue caves, and its peacefulness. It is not so far away from the popular destination of Dubrovnik, where you can explore amazing beaches as well. Half of the island is a national park and its originality invites you to discover each corner of it. At the end of the island you will find extensive beaches and magnificent views. Saplunara Beach, the most famous beach, surrounded by thick pine forest, is divided into two beaches: Large Saplunara and Small Saplunara. The best way to explore the island is by bike. You also have the chance to enjoy the island by kayak or canoe. The gorgeous beaches of Mljet can only be accessed by boat which makes your summer experience even more fascinating.
Oman in the Middle East is one of the most naturally diverse countries. When thinking of paradise beach destinations, we often think of dreamy holiday locations. From long stretches of an unexplored golden sand desert to the highest mountain peaks in the Arabian Peninsula, the country offers a lot to the adventure seeker. However, not many people know that Oman has a 3000 km long coastline of untouched beaches linking the country with the Arabian Sea in the north and the Indian Ocean in the south.
The secluded beaches of Oman are still unknown for many tourists who visit the country. Qurm Beach in the heart of the capital city of Muscat is famous for jet skiing, swimming and sunbathing. There is urban cafes district right on the seafront to enjoy the sunset views on the beach while sipping coffee. The Musandam Peninsula in Oman is relatively popular for the diverse marine life in the area. There are many scuba diving and snorkeling tours in the area from Khasab Beach in Musandam.
The weather of Oman is hot and humid for the most time of the year and the country receives a significant amount of sunlight all year long, which makes it an ideal beach destination. As the summer months in Oman can get considerably hot, the best time to visit Oman for a beach holiday is from September to March when the weather remains pleasant enough to enjoy at a beach.
While Bali can feel overcrowded, a short flight away lies Flores Island. It belogns to one of the most extraordinary destinations in Indonesia and also a perfect beach holiday spot. The town of Labuan Bajo in Flores is a great base to go island hopping to see the the world’s largest lizard, the komodo dragons that can only be found here in Flores. In Labuan Bajo you can find plenty of tour operators that offer 2-5 days of island hopping trips to visit the various smaller islands around Labuan Bajo, each island offering something different: komodo dragons, pink beaches, spectacular viewpoints, and snorkeling/scuba activities. Island hopping in Flores is definitely a highlight and a must when visiting.
Another highlight of Flores it the Kelimutu crater lakes. You can either rent a car or fly to Moni, on the other side of Flores. Here you can find the 3-colored crater lakes of Kelimutu – the lakes are famous for their changing colors. Turquoise/blue is the most common, but these lakes have also been red or white in color. Just spectacular. If you rent a car you can add stops to visit various traditional villages, spider-web rice fields, waterfalls, and more.
